If you already have time with the ketosis or low carbohydrate diet and that moment comes when you want to eat a delicious hamburger, or a bread with avocado and bacon on top, but remember that the bread is carbohydrates and you just stay with the craving.

In this article I teach you how to make ketogenic bread step by step.

How to make step-by-step ketosis

RECIPE # 1 ketogenic bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 4 teaspoons of baking powder.
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar (this is a powder that is found next to the spices and will serve to give consistency to our bread)
  • Cinnamon to taste

Let’s start preheating the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit, if your stove measures it in centigrade, then the equivalent is 190 degrees Celsius.

Then, separate the egg whites and we will beat them together with the cream of tartar until you notice that the mixture becomes spongy, 

In another bowl combine the egg yolks, melted butter, almond flour, baking powder and salt until a homogeneous mixture.

In this way a kind of mass will be created and now! add the egg whites in 3 parts.

Finally, we drain our mixture in an oiled container and bake for 30 minutes. Each oven is different, so I suggest that after 30 minutes, check with a toothpick the level of baking bread, and if it is not ready, check it every 5 minutes.

In the end it’s just a matter of cutting it into slices. There is already our bar bread especially for us, low in carbohydrates and ideal to prepare our delicious and practical sandwiches.

RECIPE # 2 of ketogenic bread

The ingredients

  • 1 1/4 Cup of Almond Flour
  • 5 spoonfuls of psyllium (It is a super good fiber for your body).
  • 1 cup of boiling water
  • 3 egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons of Sesame Seeds
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar

The preparation

     1.Before starting to prepare the bread dough, heat your oven to 175º C.

  1. Measure 1 1/4 cup almond flour in a meter, (in case you do not find almond flour, you can use almond flakes and grind them in a food processor or in a blender)
  2. Boil the water, and while adding the Psyllium, salt and baking powder to the almond flour.
  3. Add the vinegar and the egg whites to the mixture.
  4. Add the boiling water and beat the mixture until it forms dough, without stirring it for a long time to avoid that the consistency is very chewy.
  5. Separate the dough into 6 different loaves, and put them in a baking pot
  6. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, depending on the size of the buns. Take them out of the oven and serve them with butter or avocado with bacon or to your liking.

  4. Add the boiling water to the mixture and whisk the mixture
  5. Separate the dough into 6 equal parts
  6. Put the bread in the oven for 60 minutes.
  7. Serve it with the accompaniment that you like
